JAPANESE SASHIKO EMBROIDERY Discover the Japanese art of Sashiko & Boro embroidery and learn visible mending to upcycle your clothes in this hands-on creative workshop! During the session, you’ll create two unique mini coasters or one larger A5-sized artwork using traditional Sashiko & Boro stitching techniques. VISIBLE MENDING You’ll also learn how to upcycle an old pair of jeans with visible mending. Using decorative and functional stitches, you’ll repair tears or holes in an artistic and eye-catching way. Combine Japanese craftsmanship, sustainability, and aesthetics while embracing the beauty of imperfection! PRACTICAL INFORMATION Participants need to bring their own pair of jeans or denim garment for the visible mending part. All other materials are included.
