SPECIAL MOTHERSDAY WORKSHOP - 10 MAY
SPECIALE MOTHERSDAY DEAL - €30 p.p. Celebrate Mother’s Day this year in a truly special way with this workshop and make TWO botanical printed textile arts as a gift for eachotherduring het Lentefeest in the beautiful Botanical Garden in Rotterdam Kralingen. Connect creatively with your mother, share your love for nature, and discover the beautiful colors that Mother Earth gifts so generously. NATURAL TEXTILE DYEING Step by step, we’ll explore the gentle art of natural dyeing. You’ll learn how to (pre)treat fabrics for rich, lasting color and create vibrant prints with dried flowers and leaves. Together, we’ll discover which plants yield which shades, how to make the most of natural pigments, and simple techniques to shift and layer colors. BUNDLE DYEING Bundle dyeing uses flowers, leaves, and other natural materials to create abstract but dreamy patterns on fabric. In this workshop, you and your mom will create a piece of art as a gift and symbol of love for eachother. Discover surprising effects while connecting with the natural world through your hands and creativity. By the end, you’ll take home the naturally printed bandana, scarf or furoshiki giftwrap you made for eachother. PRACTICAL INFORMATION The workshop is from 14:00 to 16:00 in my atelier in Rotterdam.
